Terms of service

Heisy is operated by Techpep AB (org. no. 559458-7478), registered at Trädgårdsgatan 2, 852 31 Sundsvall, Sweden. "We" and "us" mean that company; "you" means the person or business using the service.

Using the site, the account area or the WordPress plugin means you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may bind it.

Heisy generates video from images you supply. You install a plugin in your own WordPress site, choose an image from your media library, describe what you want, and the render is produced by our API and returned to you.

The plugin is a client of that API. It does not process payments, hold your credits or store your renders — your account here does.

Every render is made by generative AI models. They interpret your image, your product and your note, and they write and film the ad themselves. That is the service, and it is also its limit: we cannot promise that a render will look the way you pictured it, that it will match your note in every detail, or that two renders of the same product will come out alike.

The models can misread a product, invent a detail, alter a label or a colour, or produce something that is simply not what you wanted. We keep improving the direction we give them and we filter what comes back, but none of that makes the result predictable. A render is an attempt, not a promise.

Nor is a render unique. The models are shared, and a product like yours with a note like yours can produce a render like yours for someone else. We do not promise exclusivity or originality; what we promise is that the render is yours to use, as the clause on ownership says.

So: review every render before you use it, as you would a draft from anyone else. You decide whether it is fit for your ad, your product and the rules of wherever you post it — we do not warrant that it is. Credits are spent on the attempt, whatever it looks like; the one exception is a render that fails on our side, which is covered next.

You need an account to render. Keep its password and any API keys to yourself: anything done with your credentials is treated as done by you, and a key that leaks can spend your credits.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to hold an account. One person or business per account. You may close it at any time from the account area, and closing it ends the plan at the end of its paid period.

Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, in US dollars, through Stripe. We never see or hold your card details.

Each plan carries a monthly allowance of credits, added to your balance on each renewal. A render spends credits according to its engine, length and resolution; the cost is shown before you start it. Unused credits roll over — they do not expire at the end of a cycle, and credits from top-ups stay yours the same way.

Credits are a measure of rendering, not money: they have no cash value, cannot be moved to another account, and cannot be exchanged back except where the law requires a refund.

A yearly plan is charged once and is priced as 2 months free against the monthly rate.

A plan renews on its own at the end of each period unless you have cancelled. If a renewal cannot be collected, Stripe retries the card and emails you; if it still cannot after a couple of weeks, the plan ends and the account drops to the free tier. Credits you bought outright stay on it.

You can change or cancel a plan from your account. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; we do not pro-rate an unused part of a month, and we do not refund a period you have already been billed for except where the law requires it.

Prices can change. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects a renewal, and you can cancel before it does.

A first purchase — a plan's first period, or a first pack of credits — can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days and no credits from it have been spent. Once a render has been started the service has begun, and that window closes; what remains is the failed-render rule below.

Renewals, and a period you have already used, are not refunded except where the law requires it. Ask by email; a person reads it and answers within a few days, and anything refunded goes back to the card it came from.

Prices are shown without VAT or sales tax. Where your country requires it, tax is added at checkout and shown before you pay; Stripe works out the rate from your billing address. A business in the EU with a valid VAT number can enter it at checkout and is charged under the reverse-charge rule.

If a render fails on our side, its credits are returned to your balance automatically. A render that completes and that you do not like is not a failure, and its credits are spent — generation is AI and not deterministic, as the clause above says, and the cost of the attempt is the cost of the attempt.

You keep everything you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your image, pass it to the engines that render it, and return the result to you.

You own the renders you generate and may use them commercially, including in paid advertising. We may show a render publicly as an example of the service only with your permission.

You are responsible for having the right to the images you upload, and for the finished video complying with the rules of wherever you post it.

The WordPress plugin is free software, licensed under the GPL, version 2 or later. You may install it on as many of your own sites as you like, read it and change it. What it connects to is the service, and the service is what a plan buys.

Your plan gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the service through your account and its API keys, on sites you run. One account per person or business; a key may be made for each site. Do not share an account or hand out a key — anything done with it counts as done by you.

When a plan ends, the renders stay yours. A render you have downloaded is yours to keep and to use, under the clause above, for as long as you like. What ends is new rendering: the credits left on your account — from your plan and from top-ups — stay there and can be spent again when you subscribe again, and your history is there while the account is open.

Do not upload anything you do not have the rights to; anything depicting a real person without their consent; anything sexual, violent or hateful; or anything intended to deceive about who made it or what it shows.

Do not try to get around the checks we run on images and renders, by wording a note to slip past them or otherwise. Where the law or the platform you post on asks you to say a video is AI-made, say so; do not pass a render off as filmed.

Do not resell raw access to the API, attempt to work around credit limits, scrape the service, or use the service or its renders to build or train a competing generation product.

We check every image before it is rendered and may refuse a render, or take one down after the fact, that breaks these rules. A refused render costs nothing.

We can suspend an account that does any of these. Where we do, unused credits are refunded unless the breach was deliberate.

We do not promise the service is uninterrupted. We depend on third-party rendering capacity, and queues lengthen. We will not deliberately degrade a paid plan's priority to sell a higher one.

Planned work that takes the API down is announced in the account area in advance where we can.

The models behind a render change. We add, swap and retire engines and versions as better ones appear, and a render made next month may not look like one made today; what stays is a service that does substantially the same thing. Do not build on a particular model staying available. A feature marked beta or preview is offered as an experiment, may change or go without notice, and is not something a plan promises.

The service runs on other people's infrastructure and models: Stripe for payment, Supabase for accounts, Cloudflare for this site, and the AI providers that read your image and render the video. Each is bound to us by its own terms, and the privacy page names what each one receives.

A link from this site or from a render's page to somewhere else is a link, not an endorsement: we do not control other sites and are not responsible for what they do or sell.

If you believe a render or an uploaded image on this service uses your work, your likeness or your trademark without permission, write to support@heisyai.com with a link or an id, what you own, and how we can reach you. We answer, and where the complaint holds we remove the material and may suspend the account that made it.

If something of yours is removed and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address and say why. We are not a court; where two people both claim a thing, we keep it down and leave the rest to them.

The service is provided as it is and as it is available. Beyond what these terms say, we make no promise about it — not that it is fit for a particular purpose, not that it is uninterrupted, and not that a render is accurate, original or free of someone else's rights.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Otherwise, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales or the cost of replacing the service.

The other way round: if a claim is made against us because of what you uploaded, a render you published, or where and how you used it, you cover what it costs us to answer it. That is the fair side of you owning the renders.

We may change these terms. The date at the top is when they last changed, and a material change is announced in the account area before it takes effect.

These terms are governed by the law of Sweden, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, nothing here takes away the protection of the law where you live, or your right to go to a court there.
